Iowa Pork Producers Donate 9,500 Pounds of Pork to Feed Families in Need

The Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) is donating more than 9,500 pounds of ground pork—equivalent to 38,000 servings—to food-insecure families across Iowa and western Nebraska on October 28–29, 2025. The donations, valued at $20,000, were made possible through funds raised at the BBQ & Brew at the Ballpark event and the generous support of Fareway Stores.

This initiative underscores pork producers’ ongoing commitment to the We CareSM principles, reflecting their strong dedication to caring for people, animals, and the communities in which they live and work.
