Iowa Select Farms Appoints Nick McCulley as New President

Iowa Select Farms has announced the appointment of Nick McCulley as the new president of its pork operations. McCulley brings with him a wealth of experience, boasting a 22-year track record in the swine production industry. His expertise spans strategic planning, financial performance, operational excellence, and fostering collaborative work environments.

“Nick is passionate about our mission and values,” said Jeff Hansen, Chief Executive Officer of Iowa Select Farms. “We are confident that his leadership will be instrumental in advancing our vision and driving our company’s success.”

In his new role, McCulley will report directly to Hansen.

Professional Background: Before joining Iowa Select Farms, McCulley served as the Global Supply Chain Director at PIC, where he was involved in genetic production and managed key teams in nutrition, health services, breed-to-wean, and wean-to-market. Prior to his tenure at PIC, McCulley was the Chief Operating Officer at M2P2 LLC, overseeing sow operations in Colorado, Oklahoma, and North Carolina, as well as finishing operations in Iowa, producing 1.3 million pigs annually.

Early Life and Education: McCulley’s roots in the swine industry run deep, having grown up near the Tri-Oak Foods production system in Oakville, Iowa, where his extended family helped establish the 70,000-farrow-to-finish operation, now part of JBS. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University.

Iowa Select Farms is excited to welcome Nick McCulley and looks forward to the innovative contributions he will bring to the team.
