The EFSA considers that the risk of ASF transmission is especially low for blood products and protein hydrolysates.

APC is pleased to share the latest conclusion from EFSA regarding  the risk of transmission of ASFV throughout matrices and feed ingredients. In this risk assessment, they
consider that blood products have little risk of ASFV transmission.
