World Pork Expo Announces Seminars and Event Information

This summer’s World Pork Expo is only a month away! Join media professionals and thousands of pork producers at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa, from June 8-10 for the world’s largest pork-specific event.

Here is the latest information about what to expect, where to find the media center, and more.

10 Educational Seminars Highlight Innovative Pork Insights

The Expo announced this year’s lineup of Business and Pork Academy seminars. Topics include sustainability, nutrition, economics, industry trends, and more, giving producers the chance to bring actionable insights back to their own operations. Read the latest press release for more information.

On-Site Media Logistics

Media professionals are invited to join us at our-onsite media center and press conference hall. These buildings are conveniently located just south of the Varied Industries Building near the outdoor exhibit spaces.

  • Walnut Center: Working media center
  • FFA Display Building: Press conference hall

Media building access is limited to press conference sponsors and credentialed media, and will be open 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on both June 8 and 9, and open 6:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, June 10.

Register Now for Media Access

Register for your media credentials online now. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation. Media badges and parking permits will be mailed to journalists who register online by May 27, 2022. If you’ve registered after this date, you may pick up your media credentials in person at the fairgrounds beginning Wednesday, June 8.

Don’t forget to share registration news with your audiences! Now through June 2, attendees can save half off the price of admission, paying just $10 for a three-day pass.
