Happy to share the news that the December January edition of Prairie Hog Country was uploaded to press yesterday. This issue is filled with an abundance of information including; some sessions from SASK Pork Symposium, updates on ASF preparedness and keeping out of Canada, made in Canada pig price, possible idea of some Alberta producers processing own hogs, biosecurity, advice from Dr. Carr about keeping pigs bred, extension of dates for quality programs, a rare breed, remembering Bruce, a letter from Canadian Pork chair and provincial organizations, a new promotion and research agency and much much more.
The tangible issue will be in the hands of Canada Post next Friday, December 4th and the online version will be updated for next week too.
With COVID cases increasing all across Canada, we are all uncertain at this time when regular routine of trade shows, in person meetings seminars & workshops will once again be allowed. Until then we will connect, as we are able through multiple zoom meetings and webinars.
As mentioned in the issue super excited that 2021 marks the 25th year of publishing for Prairie Hog Country, thanks so much for your past, present and future support. We look forward to remaining your top choice for hog news and information for many years to come.
Stay safe & stay healthy and early Merry Christmas to all.
