Tyson Launches New Wright® Brand Wood-Smoked Sausage Line

Tyson Foods is expanding its premium pork portfolio with the launch of three new smoked sausage varieties under the iconic Wright® Brand, reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation in protein-rich products.

The new lineup includes:

  • Applewood Premium Sausage Links

  • White Cheddar & Bacon Premium Sausage Links

  • Bacon, Cheddar & Jalapeño Premium Sausage Links

Each variety delivers bold, wood-smoked flavor and is packed with 12–13 grams of protein per serving. The new sausages are now available in select retail stores, with a national rollout expected in fall 2025.

Wright Brand has been a staple in the pork industry since 1922, known for its hand-cut, real wood-smoked bacon. Originally founded in the back of a grocery store in Vernon, Texas, Wright Brand experienced strong growth throughout the 1980s before being acquired by Tyson Foods in 2001. The brand continues to be a cornerstone in Tyson’s premium pork product strategy.

With this launch, Tyson Foods aims to meet evolving consumer preferences for flavorful, high-protein pork products, while continuing the tradition of craftsmanship that has defined the Wright name for over a century.
