New Networking Social Added to Kick Off Annual Industry Gathering

Carthage Veterinary Service, Ltd. (CVS) is proud to announce the 35th Annual Swine Conference, set for August 26, 2025, in Quincy, Illinois. This industry-leading event brings together hundreds of pork producers, veterinarians, researchers, and allied industry professionals from across the U.S. and internationally to share the latest in swine health, production, leadership, and innovation.

This year’s conference will once again feature a full lineup of expert speakers and breakout sessions in both English and Spanish, focusing on key topics including animal health, production and management strategies, leadership development, emerging technologies, applied research, nutrition, and economic outlooks.

New for 2025 is the addition of the Official Monday Night Social, a dedicated evening networking event hosted by Carthage Veterinary Service (CVS) and the Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA). Designed to connect attendees, speakers, and exhibitors in a relaxed, casual environment, the event will take place Monday evening, August 25, following the conclusion of the IPPA Pork Chop Open golf outing. Open to both golfers and conference attendees, the Monday Night Social offers a fun and meaningful opportunity for deeper engagement, business development, and collaborative conversations ahead of Tuesday’s full conference agenda.

“We are excited to celebrate 35 years of partnership, innovation, and progress with our swine industry colleagues,” said Aaron Lower, DVM, President of Carthage Veterinary Service. “The new Monday Night Social enhances the value of the conference for exhibitors and attendees alike and reflects our commitment to fostering connections that drive the industry forward.”

The Swine Conference continues to grow in reach and impact each year, and CVS looks forward to welcoming a strong lineup of presenters and partners in 2025. Additional details including registration, speakers, and session times will be released in the coming weeks. For up-to-date information, visit conference.hogvet.com.
