This webinar focuses on reducing grow/finish mortality. Dr. Jordan Gebhardt from Kansas State University presents his literature review of post-weaning mortality in commercial farms. The second project on drivers of wean-to-finish mortality is presented by Dr. Edison Magalhaes from the Iowa State University Veterinary School. The Improving Pig Survivability Project is a 5-year, interdisciplinary, multi-university project funded by the National Pork Board and FFAR aimed at reducing mortality in the U.S. swine industry by 1% or more per year of the project.
