Dr. Connor’s influence on the industry spans decades, beginning with the founding of Carthage Veterinary Service, LTD in 1980. From that foundation, he has played a pivotal role in guiding producers through periods of significant transformation—both in North America and globally.
Widely regarded as one of the leading swine veterinarians in the world, his work has extended far beyond clinical practice, helping define modern approaches to herd health, production efficiency, and veterinary leadership.
His global impact was recognized in 2008 when he was named the first honorary member of the Japanese Association of Swine—further cementing his reputation as an international leader in the field.
