At Tosh Farms, innovation starts at the ground level — and few places reflect that better than their Railroad Research Barn, where a small but mighty team is driving real results for the entire operation.
Led by Christy Whitten (Supervisor) and supported by Leia Triplett (Research Barn Helper), this team oversees a critical wean-to-market site focused on conducting cutting-edge trials related to feed, vaccines, and genetics. Since 2013, they’ve been collecting precise data like pen weights and feed intake to support informed decision-making across Tosh Pork.
What sets this crew apart? A deep commitment to teamwork, animal care, and precision — with a shared goal of improving outcomes across the board. Outside of work, both team members are proud to spend quality time with their families.
Looking ahead, the team is gearing up for a major milestone: implementing a modern feed system that promises to elevate research capabilities and production insights even further.
Stay tuned as Tosh continues to push boundaries and spotlight the people behind its progress.
