AcuFast™ Expands into Mexico with New Strategic Distribution Partnership

AcuFast™ has announced the launch of AcuFast Mexico through a new strategic distribution partnership, strengthening its commitment to the Mexican swine industry and expanding producer access to high-quality genetics and technical support.

The new operation will be led by Dr. Héctor Téllez, a respected swine industry leader with more than 35 years of experience in production, reproduction, and genetics. His expertise and deep connections within the industry will be instrumental in helping producers across Mexico integrate proven, high-performing genetics into their operations.

The first shipment of animals for AcuFast Mexico is expected within the next two months, destined for a strategically located quarantine site operating under the highest biosecurity standards.

Among the first imports will be AcuFast™ Duroc boars, valued for their balance of growth, efficiency, and lean meat yield. Known for robust disease resistance and superior carcass traits—including heavy muscling—these boars offer economic advantages for cost-conscious producers.

AcuFast’s maternal lines will also be introduced, recognized for prolificacy, ease of management, and adaptability across diverse production environments—traits proven in herds across North America.

“We’re excited to work with Dr. Téllez and the team behind AcuFast Mexico,” said Francisco Bobadilla, Executive Vice President & Head of AcuFast™. “Their experience and commitment to producers will ensure our genetics bring real value to pork operations across Mexico.”

AcuFast™, wholly owned by STgenetics®, is a North American swine genetics company dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and customer success, combining cutting-edge science with practical solutions for pork production.
