The American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) has launched a new online service designed to connect co-packers with companies seeking contract manufacturing support.
This initiative gives AAMP members the opportunity to showcase their processing capabilities and partner with businesses looking for help producing meat and protein products. The platform allows interested companies to submit detailed project requests—including product type, volume, and specific processing needs—which are then shared directly with AAMP’s network of co-packers.
The program also features a dedicated AAMP co-packer group, where members can post available capacity, list capabilities, and review potential partnerships.
Implications for the Pork Industry
For pork producers and processors, this new service opens the door to expanded collaboration and flexibility. Brands can locate specialized facilities to handle further processing, portioning, or packaging, while co-packers can identify new opportunities within the growing pork value chain.
By streamlining connections between processors and product developers, AAMP’s initiative supports innovation and efficiency across all sectors of the meat industry—particularly valuable at a time when adaptability and strategic partnerships are key to growth.
