Wisconsin Pork Association to Host 13th Annual Pork Classic
Pork producers, allied industry representatives, and friends of the pork industry are invited to participate in the Wisconsin Pork Association’s (WPA) 13th Annual Pork Classic golf outing. The events will take place on September 5th at the Lake Windsor Golf Club, Lake Windsor.
Check in, lunch and practice tee will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15. The four-person scramble tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. A reception will be held beginning at 5, followed by dinner.
WPA plans this outing for the purpose of allowing pork industry professionals to network, and to raise revenues to support advocacy and legislative activities on behalf of the Wisconsin pork industry.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble format. Team registration is $380, or individuals can sign-up for $95 and you will be assigned to a team. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner, hole and team prizes.
Hole, team, and prize sponsorships are also available starting at $100. Hole in one prizes, including a chance to win $10,000, will be available! If your company would like more information on donating prizes or participating as a sponsor, contact the WPA office.
Don’t worry about whether you are an old pro on the course and just a “once in a while putter”, WPA will look forward to having you participate in the 2012 Pork Classic!
The registration deadline is August 24th. Register by contacting the Wisconsin Pork Association today at 608-723-7551, or e-mailing wppa@wppa.org. A registration form can also be downloaded at www.wppa.org.
