Sysco Corp announces 2012 top suppliers
Sysco Corp. announced last week its 2012 top suppliers.
Among its “Gold” suppliers were National Beef Packing Co. (beef), Sara Lee (pork) and Sanderson Farms (poultry).
“Silver” suppliers included OSI Group (beef), JBS (pork) and Pilgrim’s Pride (poultry).
The “Bronze” club, meanwhile, included Tyson Foods Inc. (beef, pork, poultry), Advance Pierre Foods (beef), American Food Group (beef), Cargill Inc. (beef, pork), Holten Meat (beef), Clemens Food Group (pork), Butterball (poultry), Perdue Farms (poultry), and Koch Foods (poultry).
Sysco gave its 2012 Supply Chain Partner Award to Schwan’s Food Service, its Innovation Award to Kraft Food Ingredients, and its Best of Sysco Brand Awards to OSI Industries (1st place), Dean Foods (2nd place) and Clements (third place).
