For producers using diets with corn and soybean meal we have 4 options. The differences between these products are the amount of phytase enzyme (OptiPhos) and amino acids contained in the base mix. The phytase enzyme (OptiPhos) will increase the digestibility of phosphorus in the grain, therefore reducing the amount of inorganic phosphorus in the diet, which in turn will reduce the amount of phosphorus in the waste.
