Nutritional value of rice coproducts fed to pigs

Dr. Gloria Casas, a recent graduate from the Stein Nutrition Lab, presents the results of her Ph. D. dissertation work on feeding rice co-products to pigs. Topics include composition of rice coproducts; digestibility of crude protein, amino acids, energy, and phosphorus; the effects of including xylanase in diets containing rice co-products; and the effects of inclusion of rice coproducts in diets fed to weanling or grow-finish pigs.
