Cargill plant in Texas evacuated for bomb threat

Second shift workers at a Cargill Meat Solutions plant in Plainview, Texas were evacuated Wednesday night when the facility received a bomb threat, according to the Lubbock Avalanch Journal.

Cargill spokesman Mike Martin told the newspaper the plant received the threat by phone at about 6:10 p.m.  and released second shift workers, losing about four hours of meat production at the facility while law enforcement searched the premises.

No bomb was found. The investigation is ongoing.
